Apparently not. My world only has one language, but for some reason it corresponds to two of Earth's languages-- English and Chinese.

It just really doesn't seem that logical for there to be one language over an entire world.

I don't think it's logical for a world to have more than one. Doesn't it make things confusing if you can't all understand each other?

Well, yes, if you're in a position to be talking to someone who only speaks another language. But people can learn more than one language - after all, you just said you were doing it.
